What we prepare
Eight things, done properly.
Individual, small business and self-employed returns, back taxes, extensions, bookkeeping, ITIN applications and amendments — federal and California, prepared in North Hollywood and e‑filed as soon as you have signed.
Individual Tax Returns
Federal and California, W‑2 income, 1099s, standard or itemized deductions.
02Small Business Returns
Sole proprietor, Schedule C, single-member LLC, S‑corp and partnership filings.
03Self-Employed & Gig Workers
Rideshare, delivery, freelance and contract work. Mileage, expenses, quarterly estimates.
04Back Taxes & Late Filing
Prior-year returns and catching up several years at once, without the lecture.
05Extensions
Form 4868 filed for you, plus a plan for the payment that an extension doesn't postpone.
06Bookkeeping
Monthly or quarterly books so next April is a handover, not an archaeology dig.
07ITIN Applications
Form W‑7 prepared and submitted with your return, including renewals.
08Amended Returns
Form 1040‑X when something was missed, mis-entered, or arrived late.
The same process, whatever you file
Three steps, one night, done.
A Schedule C takes longer than a single W‑2, but the shape of the job never changes: you hand it over, we prepare it, you review it before anything is transmitted.
You drop off
Documents in person or by email. We run the checklist with you so nothing is discovered missing at 9pm.
We prepare
Federal and California prepared and double-checked the same evening, while the office is quiet.
You review & we e‑file
We walk the numbers with you, you sign, and it is transmitted. You leave with a copy in hand.
Included in every return
What you get, whichever service you book.
Both returns, filed together
Your federal return and your California return are prepared and e‑filed as one job. There is no separate charge for the state return on an individual filing.
A review before you sign
We go through the return with you line by line — income, deductions, refund or balance due — before anything is transmitted to the IRS or the FTB.
A complete copy
A printed or PDF copy of the filed return and the e‑file acknowledgements, so next year's preparer (hopefully us) is not starting from nothing.
A price before we start
We confirm the fee once we have seen your documents and know which forms are involved. The number does not move afterwards.
The same person, year-round
If a notice arrives in August, you call the same number and speak to the person who prepared the return. We are not seasonal.
Straight answers
If something you are hoping to deduct is not deductible, we say so while you are sitting there, not after the return is filed.
Not sure which one you need
Most people pick the wrong box. That is fine.
Plenty of clients call themselves “self-employed” when they have a single-member LLC, or book an individual return when half their income came through a 1099‑K. Book whatever looks closest — we work out the right filing when we see the documents, and we tell you before we start if the price changes.
What we do not do. We are a tax preparation office, not a law firm or an investment adviser. We do not give legal advice, we do not sell financial products, and we do not promise a refund amount before the return is prepared.
Audit or IRS notice? Call us. As a CPA office we hold unlimited representation rights before the IRS, so we can deal with the notice on your behalf instead of handing you back a phone number. Bring the letter in and we will read it with you.
Not sure where your return fits?
Bring the paperwork in and we will tell you which service it is, what it costs, and how fast it can be done. That conversation is free.
